Overview
We’ve just rolled out a nifty little feature that lets you automatically schedule your first comment on Instagram when you post through Late. It’s perfect for those who like their captions neat and tidy while still packing in the hashtags and links where they belong.
What's New
This feature introduces a new field for your first comment right below the caption box when you select Instagram as your platform. You can now keep your main caption clean and concise and use the first comment for all the extras—think hashtags, links, or any other content that doesn’t need to clutter your caption. It’s like giving your post a little makeover, and who doesn’t love that?
Both your post and the comment will publish automatically, so there’s no more switching apps or copy-pasting like you’re living in the Stone Age. Just create your post, add your first comment in the new field, and hit publish. Voilà! You’ve just leveled up your Instagram game, and it’s all taken care of by Late.
Key Improvements
- New field for scheduling the first comment on Instagram posts.
- Improved organization of content by separating captions and comments.
- Automatic publishing of both the post and comment for seamless experience.
- Compatible with CSV uploads and API for developers in the automation game.
How to Use It
To get started, connect your Instagram account if you haven’t already. Then, when creating your post, simply fill in your main caption as usual. Below that, you’ll see the new first comment field—just type away! When you publish, both the post and the comment will go live together. Easy peasy, right?
If you're using our API, you can also create first comments programmatically. Check out the documentation for all the endpoints you’ll need. It’s like having a personal assistant for your social media!
