We're excited to introduce AI Clipping, a cool new feature in Late that automatically turns your long videos into bite-sized clips. Perfect for all those social media reels, shorts, and TikToks you want to create without the usual editing headaches.
What's New
With AI Clipping, you can now upload long videos and let our smart AI do the heavy lifting. It finds the most engaging moments—think dramatic hooks and emotional reactions—and turns them into short clips lasting between 15 and 60 seconds. So, if you have a 20-minute podcast, you can easily slice it up into sharable gems in no time.
Once you upload your video through the brand new 'Studio' tab on your Late dashboard, just hit 'Generate Clips' and kick back while it works its magic. Depending on the length of your video, you’ll get an email notification when it's ready. You'll see clips labeled as Clip 0, Clip 1, and so on, each with a preview for you to check out. Need to share them? You can download, copy links, or post them directly without leaving the dashboard. And yes, they come with a Late watermark unless you’ve upgraded your plan.

How to Use It
To start using AI Clipping, navigate to the new 'Studio' tab in your Late dashboard. You can upload a video or paste a link from your own server, just make sure it's not a YouTube URL. Once uploaded, click 'Generate Clips' and wait for an email when your clips are ready. Then you can instantly watch and share them!
