Overview
We’ve just rolled out a nifty feature that lets you tag people directly in your Instagram posts while scheduling them through Late. No more waiting and editing after publishing—now you can get it all done in one go.
What's New
Previously, if you wanted to tag someone in your Instagram post, you had to publish it first and then go back to edit. Talk about a hassle! Now, with our latest update, you can tag users right from the dashboard. This means you can give due credit or collaborate seamlessly without added steps or wasted time.
Once you select Instagram as your platform and pick your content type, you’ll see a shiny new option to add collaborators and tag people. You can even position the tags exactly where you want them on the image using coordinates. For instance, if you set the coordinates to 0.5 and 0.5, the tag will be right in the center. It’s like being a digital Picasso, but without the messy paint.
Key Improvements
- Tagging people directly in Instagram posts when scheduling.
- Ability to specify tag positions using coordinates.
- Option to add tags programmatically through the Late API.
- Streamlined process for collaborations and credit-giving.
How to Use It
To use this feature, simply create a new post in your Late dashboard, select the content, and choose Instagram. Scroll down to find the option to add Instagram collaborators and tag people. Just enter the usernames and set the coordinates for where you want the tags to appear. If you’re a developer, you can also automate this tagging through our API.
