Track LinkedIn Analytics via API for Personal & Company Pages

Overview

We've just rolled out LinkedIn analytics in Late, and it’s ready to help you track your performance on both personal profiles and company pages. Just like with other platforms, this feature lets you analyze your follower growth and post performance.

What's New

First off, we now support follower analytics for both LinkedIn company pages and personal profiles. You can keep an eye on your follower growth and historical performance, even for personal accounts, thanks to aggregated analytics. LinkedIn may be a bit tight on the data for personal profiles, but we're still able to provide a solid overview of your activity.

Now onto post-level analytics. For company pages, we’re tracking all the usual suspects: impressions, likes, views, and more. Just connect your page to Late, and voilà, analytics appear automatically, whether posts were published through Late or not. But for personal profiles, there’s a catch: LinkedIn’s API restrictions mean we can only fetch post-level analytics for posts published through Late. So, if you hit publish directly on LinkedIn, you’re out of luck there.

To make things easier for developers, we've introduced two shiny new API endpoints. The first is for fetching aggregated analytics for personal accounts, allowing you to analyze your full account history or slice it by day or date range. The second is for retrieving analytics for a specific post using its URN. If you've got that URN, you can pull analytics for any post, even if it wasn't published via Late. It’s like an open invitation to get fancy with your data analysis!
